What Is Voltmod?
Voltmod is an electrical device that claims to reduce household energy consumption by stabilizing electrical current in your home. In addition, it promises to protect appliances from damage caused by power surges and outages.
This energy saver gadget claims to provide your home with a smooth and stable power. It offers to filter dirty electricity from your home and save you up to 90% of your light bill. This, however, is a lie.
This energy saver gadget claims to provide your home with a smooth and stable power. It offers to filter dirty electricity from your home and save you up to 90% of your light bill. This, however, is a lie.

How It Works
The mode of use described for Voltmod was quite simple. It works by simply plugging the energy saver device into a wall socket. No set up required. Once the energy saver is plugged in, it begins to lower electricity bill instantly.
But we know this cannot be true.
Does Voltmod Work?
Voltmod energy saver is offered at a very cheap rate, at a discount of up to 70%, making it enticing to prospective buyers. A single device goes for $49, which has been cut down from its alleged original $100 price tag.
It offers to do the following:
- quickly and easily stabilize your home’s electrical current
- reduce harmful dirty electricity from your home
- protect and prolong the life of your appliances and electronics
According to their claim, Voltmod energy saver, by correcting the poor power factor of consumers, would reduce consumers’ electricity bill. This would appeal to any person looking to save on electricity. But little would they know that the product doesn’t do any of the aforementioned promises.

How We Know Voltmod Is Scam
Voltmod promises impossible energy cleaning. They claim to regulate power factor, which is the amount of electrical power used in your house daily. By adjusting this, the device can then reduce your energy use, thereby reducing your energy bill at the end of the month.
However, that is another lie. On Reduction Revolution, an energy efficiency blog, they wrote:
“Residential electricity customers, and most small businesses, do not pay for poor power factor. So, even IF these devices correct power factor, they will not change your electricity bill. Power factor correction will reduce your apparent power consumption. It does not affect real power (what you are billed for).”

Also, there are over a thousand reviews on Voltmod’s website, none of which are verifiable. We strongly believe the reviews were uploaded by those behind the fake energy saver. This was common among other false energy saving devices we came across.
You can also see what users are saying about GetVoltex, a similar fake energy saving device we reviewed earlier.
What a user wrote about Voltmod on Trustpilot:
Complete scam product. Makes promises that are impossible to fulfil, uses fake reviews, fake references to respectable publications etc. 100% junk science designed to separate people from money. Ironically, the most vulnerable that are desperately seeking ways to save money on energy maybe lured into spending over £100 on this useless junk.
