How Does fearterr.com Work?

Fearterr claims to sell top quality products at very affordable rates on their online store, but should you trust them? In the course of our research, we noticed that the affordability of their products serves as bait to attract unsuspecting buyers. This is common among scam online stores.

Fearterr.com uses a very neat and well-designed website layout, giving it a convincing feel. But this should not deceive you into believing Fearterr.com is legit because most of these scam online stores go the extra mile to appear trustworthy.

Fearterr accepts payments made through Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and PayPal.

What We Found About fearterr.com!

Following the coronavirus outbreak, people have, due to the lockdown in cities, resorted to online stores for most things they need to buy. Fraudsters have taken to this opportunity to open up fraudulent websites where they steal money from unsuspecting buyers. We have taken the responsibility to carry out reviews on sites like Fearterr and expose their fraudulent schemes.

From reports found on the internet, no positive reviews have been made on fearterr.com. Usually, authentic positive reviews are a sign that an online store is reliable. Fearterr.com, after passing through a series of tests, shows it is less than six months old and, therefore, should not be trusted.

Their website uses https security – this means that information like passwords and credit card numbers, when sent to their site, is kept private. But this is not an assurance that the people behind the platform won’t tamper with your details.

The other things which we found out about Fearterr which made us believe fearterr.com is a fake online store are:

Reachability

  • They have no social media presence. Trustworthy stores use social media as a means to advertise their wares and also connect to their customers. They even listen to and resolve customers’ complaints through their social media handles.
  • The contact information provided on their website is not reliable: their email is unprofessional and they have no return address.
  • Due to the anonymity of the owners of the store, there is zero accountability, and no one to charge should you be scammed. The absence of a real face to account for the operations of the store is a big red flag.

Reviews

  • The products sampled on fearterr.com are without customer reviews which is a bad sign. Reliable online stores like Amazon usually carry customer reviews, both positive and negative, on the products sampled on their store.
  • When we scanned their site on ScamDoc (a website analysis platform), it returned a very bad trust score of 1%. This means that their site can’t be trusted because no identifying information of the owner is tied to the domain name. And since their creation date is very recent, there is no past timeline through which we can measure their authenticity.

Content

  • The contents used on their webpages were copied from other sources, as we have, times without number, encountered the use of same contents in other fraudulent online stores.

Tracker

  • There is no reliable tracking system available on their website to monitor the progress of the ordered products.

This is what a user had to say:

“Just got scammed by this! I was buying 7 chairs for Christmas…received 7 little 8” stool things that wouldn’t fit 1 adult foot on it. So mad about this!”

ScamDoc

Verdict!

Fearterr.com, like Amkerosene, is an untrustworthy online store, and, therefore, not recommended for use. If you shop from them, you stand the risk of losing your money but getting no product in return. Protect yourself from swindlers.

There are many untrustworthy online stores on the internet promising to sell top-notch products but at heavily discounted rates.

It is common to come across these e-commerce stores offering good looking products at appetizing prices. But, in the end, such stores usually turn out to be fraudulent.

Most people attracted by these “too good to be true” prices from these online stores have bought goods of their liking but received something different from what they had ordered, and of poor quality.

Worse, some have placed orders with full payment yet received nothing but silence from the online vendors. You do not have to become one of them to learn from their experience.

It is unfair to fall victim to these fraudsters and lose the money you earned from honest work. Fact-checking should be a priority before you buy anything from an online vendor.

If you’ve shopped from this store, or attempted to do so, kindly share your experience with us in the comment section.

  1. I saw that they claim to be in Texas, but the language in the “about us” section seemed like translation, It had that not-quite-right feel to it like so many quickie Chinese knock-off retailers. But this is the first one I’ve seen that boldly lies about being American.

  2. So far, it has been a scam. Hopefully since I paid using PayPal, I will get my money back. Email address returns as undeliverable. Tracking number provided by seller was expired and now shows not valid on DHL. Total scam. Avoid!

      1. I was able to get my money back through the credit card company that is attached to my paypal. I hate scammers!!!! I got the same stupid little stool things too. Is it a chair for your American dolls?

  3. I ordered two camping rocking chairs and a month later received two little pop up stool type things that would barely fit a child. Totally scammed. Do not use this site. They did not respond to any of my emails and their phone number is fake.

    1. I got the same stools that really won’t fit a foot. Tried calling a false number that is listed on their site and it won’t go through. Tried clicking on my original order and site is not available for the order but if you click home it will direct you to the store to shop again.
Suspected the stools I got were from them and did extensive back tracking without success. This is a scam.

    2. Exact same thing happened to me, reading these comments made me realize those little joke stools were “my order” I thought my friends were pranking me (I am fortunate enough to have friends like that :))

  4. I have been scammed by this company too. I order 2 camping chairs and received to child size folding stools. I have contacted the company twice with no response.

  5. Unfortunately I found this article after I made a purchase for two luxury reclining camp chairs. Like in your article I received what can only be described as something akin to a foot stool. Now I am being told to get my money back it will cost more than $25 to ship there $3 stools back. Very disappointed!

  6. Same thing happened to me. Ordered 2 reclining chairs and received two little stools and no reply to my many emails. How do I get revenge on these assholes?

  7. I was also scammed by this fraud company! I purchased two chairs, and was so excited to receive, because football season would be starting! Three months I kept checking back with them asking when I can expect my order! It’s on its way, month and a half went by and told them I didn’t receive the chairs! They sent two folding chairs the size for a doll to sit on! I’m so angry that I was scammed! Someone needs to shut them down! I would if I knew how!!

  8. I think I am the next victim. Ordered some ink pens but pretty sure I will never see them after reading this.

  9. I purchases two chairs and did not receive what I ordered. When I tried to contact the company to return the items for a refund they refused to provide me with any return shipping details and I was told I had to pay the cost to ship the items back. What I received was not what I ordered and I have to pay to return the incorrect items when their refund policy says there is no cost to return items.
