How Does pumphreyr.com Work?

Pumphreyr claims to sell top quality products at very affordable rates on their online store, but should you trust them?

For instance, they offer a discount of up to 50% off some products on their store, selling the items for prices that are too good to be ignored.

However, using cheap deals to bait unsuspecting buyers is common among scam online stores. Those who eventually fall for it and go on to make orders end up getting scammed; they either receive products of inferior quality, or nothing at all.

Also, pumphreyr.com uses a convincing website layout, giving it a trustworthy outlook. But this should not deceive you into believing Pumphreyr is legit because most of these scam online stores go the extra mile to appear trustworthy.

Pumphreyr accepts payments made through Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and PayPal.

What We Found About pumphreyr.com!

One of the advantages of the internet age is the ease with which we do things. One could, by clicking a few links on a laptop or a smartphone, purchase items from the comfort of their homes. But its down side is this: because the sellers are invisible, they could easily be scammers.

We have taken the responsibility to carry out reviews on sites like Pumphreyr and expose their fraudulent schemes.

One of the things we noticed about Pumphreyr is that no positive reviews have been made about them – not on social media, not on review sites. Usually, authentic positive reviews are a sign that an online store is reliable.

Also, the domain name pumphreyr.com is less than six months old and, therefore, should not be trusted. And since their creation date is very recent, there is no past timeline through which we can measure their authenticity. Apart from being recent, the domain has a hosting plan lasting for one year. Even Google warns that websites with a short life span are most likely scam.

Their website uses https security – this means that information like passwords and credit card numbers, when sent to their site, is kept private. But this is not an assurance that the people behind the platform won’t tamper with your details.

The other things which we found out about Pumphreyr which made us believe pumphreyr.com is a fake online store are:

They have no social media presence. Trustworthy stores use social media as a means to advertise their wares and also connect to their customers. They even listen to and resolve customers’ complaints through their social media handles. Most scam stores refrain from having social media accounts because a victim of their fraud can easily tag and expose them there, warning away other prospective buyers.

The contact information provided on their website is not reliable: customers complained of receiving no response. Their email address is not responsive. They have no phone number and no return address.

Due to the anonymity of the owners of the store, there is zero accountability, and no one to charge should you be scammed. The absence of a real face to account for the operations of the store is a big red flag.

The products sampled on pumphreyr.com are without customer reviews, which is a bad sign. Reliable online stores like Amazon usually carry mixed customer reviews, both positive and negative, on the products sampled on their store.

When we scanned their site on ScamDoc (a website analysis platform), it returned a very bad trust score of 1%. This means that their site can’t be trusted because no identifying information of the owner is tied to the domain name.

The contents used on their webpages were copied from other sources, as we have, times without number, encountered the use of same contents in other fraudulent online stores.

On their About Page, they wrote: “At pumphreyr we love every passion and interest on Earth…” Searching that line on Google would show how much it has been used by scam stores.

A dissatisfied customer wrote this:

“Sells fraudulent products, poor quality counterfeit and illegal. Costs just as much as product did to return to China and get a refund. Cannot be trusted, changed items sold now on website.”

Pumphreyr.com, like LolasFashion, is an untrustworthy online store. Therefore, we do not recommend that you shop here. If you shop from them, you stand the risk of losing your money but getting no product in return.

There are many untrustworthy online stores on the internet promising to sell top-notch products but at heavily discounted rates.

It is common to come across these e-commerce stores offering good looking products at appetizing prices. But, in the end, such stores usually turn out to be fraudulent.

Most people attracted by these “too good to be true” prices from these online stores have bought goods of their liking but received something different from what they had ordered, and of poor quality.

Worse, some have placed orders with full payment yet received nothing but silence from the online vendors. You do not have to become one of them to learn from their experience.

It is unfair to fall victim to these fraudsters and lose the money you earned from honest work. Fact-checking should be a priority before you buy anything from an online vendor.

If you’ve shopped from this store, or attempted to do so, kindly share your experience with us in the comment section.

  1. Pumphreyr.com, according to the Better Business Bureau (BBB), are no longer in business, so sending them any funds would not be in your best interest, and quite likely why they are running items at prices that are “TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE” a clear RED FLAG, because as my dad used to say, “If its too good to be true, it probably is!”

  2. I just bought from them as well hope it is not a scam but I will come back with details of the experience,

  3. My gf ordered one of their excavators but then heard nothing from them. She was able to get her money back by submitting a claim through the bank but never did hear from the company when she tried to contact them. I’m saddened that their advertisement is regularly played on Facebook. I guess I thought FB had more integrity than that. Prior to this, I had an obviously misplaced trust in items I saw advertised there.

    1. Facebook should be held accountable as an accessory to the fraud of every scammed victims of these thieves, but that won’t happen so make it happen by boycotting Facebook!

  4. Pumphreyr.com is still doing business and are still ripping people off. Their offers are false and misleading, but since they aren’t in the US there’s nothing you can do about them.
