How Does lysoluz.com Work?

Lysoluz claims to sell Lysol products at giveaway prices. Lysol is a company that produces disinfectants and cleaning agents like wipes, toilet bowl cleaners, rust removers, disinfectant sprays, among others. Recently, their products were recognized as very effective in killing the novel Corona-virus, Covid-19, and this has caused an up-shoot in demand for Lysol disinfectant and cleaning products.

In the course of our research, we noticed the affordability of Lysoluz’s products serves as bait to attract unsuspecting buyers. This is common among scam online stores.

Lysoluz.com uses a very neat and well-designed website layout, giving it a convincing feel. But this should not deceive you into believing Lysoluz.com is legit because most of these scam online stores go the extra mile to appear trustworthy.

Lysoluz is one of many stores claiming to sell Lysol products, and they accept payments made through Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and PayPal.

What We Found About lysoluz.com!

Following the coronavirus outbreak, people have, due to the lockdown in cities, resorted to online stores for most things they need to buy. Fraudsters have taken to this opportunity to open up fraudulent websites where they steal money from unsuspecting buyers. We have taken the responsibility to carry out reviews on sites like Lysoluz and expose their fraudulent schemes.

From reports found on the internet, no positive reviews have been made on lysoluz.com. Usually, authentic positive reviews are a sign that an online store is reliable. Lysoluz.com, after passing through a series of tests, shows it is less than six months old and, therefore, should not be trusted.

Their website uses https security – this means that information like passwords and credit card numbers, when sent to their site, is kept private. But this is not an assurance that the people behind the platform won’t tamper with your details.

The other things which we found out about Lysoluz which made us believe lysoluz.com is a fake online store are:

Reachability

  • The social media links provided on their website are not connected to any handles. When clicked on, they prompt you to share Lysoluz’s website link to your timeline. This is very unprofessional and is not something an authentic store would do. Trustworthy stores use social media as a means to advertise their wares and also connect to their customers. They even listen to and resolve customers’ complaints through their social media handles.
  • The contact information provided on their website is not reliable: the email address is unprofessional; they have no phone number, no return address.
  • Due to the anonymity of the owners of the store, there is zero accountability, and no one to charge should you be scammed. The absence of a real face to account for the operations of the store is a big red flag.

Reviews

  • The products sampled on lysoluz.com are without customer reviews which is a bad sign. Reliable online stores like Amazon usually carry customer reviews, both positive and negative, on the products sampled on their store.
  • When we scanned their site on ScamDoc (a website analysis platform), it returned a very bad trust score of 2%. This means that their site can’t be trusted because no identifying information of the owner is tied to the domain name. And since their creation date is very recent, there is no past timeline through which we can measure their authenticity.

Content

  • The contents used on their web pages (especially their About page) were copied from other sources, as we have, times without number, encountered the use of same contents in other fraudulent online stores.

Verdict!

Lysoluz.com, like Cleanlypros, Cleanyos and Cleanula, is a fake Lysol online store and, therefore, not recommended for use. If you shop from them, you stand the risk of losing your money but getting no product in return. Protect yourself from swindlers.

There are many untrustworthy online stores on the internet promising to sell top-notch products but at heavily discounted rates.

It is common to come across these e-commerce stores offering good looking products at appetizing prices. But, in the end, such stores usually turn out to be fraudulent.

Most people attracted by these “too good to be true” prices from these online stores have bought goods of their liking but received something different from what they had ordered, and of poor quality.

Worse, some have placed orders with full payment yet received nothing but silence from the online vendors. You do not have to become one of them to learn from their experience.

It is unfair to fall victim to these fraudsters and lose the money you earned from honest work. Fact-checking should be a priority before you buy anything from an online vendor.

If you’ve shopped from this store, or attempted to do so, kindly share your experience with us in the comment section.

  1. I am so hurt and disgusted!! We were trying to get supplies for our mother and we ordered about $100 plus dollars worth of supplies from Lysoluz. We received a email about products and all. Only to find out this store is a scam and most of us used debit cards. There is no way to get our money or products and once we tried to email them only to have it returned, I knew it was a fake. Please do not order from this site!!

      1. I ordered from them (lysoluz.com) 8/14/20. I ordered $30.00 worth from this fake company, I hope they can find out who is doing these bogus websites. I usually check websites out before I order anything.

      2. Paypal will give you your money back. If you used a debit or credit card then call the bank. Report it as fraud if you have been charged and not received your order. Report it as a dispute if the charges have been made and are suspicious and you are suspecting fraud since you have not had communication from them, did not get the product, the website has no means of communication. Contact Shopify which powers the website and they have a contact page for people to make contact without a card. The bank will place a hold on the card until the transactions are investigated and charge back the seller if it is not an honest site. Most places will not charge your card until they ship the items. If it is fraud get your transaction charged back. You can report to the fraud to the Attorney General. Since the products are for healthcare the fraud prosecution is even more falling under speculation by the country for fraud and price gouging.

  2. I ordered $45 dollars worth of products on 8.15.20. Paid with my debit card, received one email that said “we’re getting ready to ship your order, will notify you when it has been sent.” I knew better…no phone number or business address on the website, but it was too late. I’ve emailed [email protected] several times but no response, of course. Please get the word out…this company is a SCAM and you will lose your money! I have a broken foot and was trying to shop on line to keep from having to purchase in person. We all work hard for our money…how cruel to take advantage of innocent people during this pandemic !!

  3. I I ordered 30.00 dollars worth of stuff from this company and I received a email saying my order was getting prepared and once it was shipped I would receive notifications. I am so hurt by this I have lost money that I worked hard for.

  4. Yes I’ve been scammed by lysoluz.com. Ordered on their website Aug 15. Sent an email to [email protected] on Aug 20 regarding shipment. Amazingly I did receive a reply from “Jennifer Rodriguez” who stated my “order was checked and it is already shipping” and “due to system reasons the order confirmation email is sometimes lost.” I then noticed some Chinese writing at the bottom of the email. Of course it’s been 2 weeks and I’ve heard nothing else and they’ve already charged my credit card. I’m sure I’ll never receive the order.

    1. I ordered some products from this co. And they charged my card the next day, but here’s what’s strange the payment was made to Alsrideforlife out of Fort Worth Texas. Yes, I got scammed!

  5. Yes, I must admit I got scammed to by Lysoluz. aka capemedical. I normally look for reviews before ordering from a site. But, like others, I was trying to get Lysol disinfectant spray. This site pop up during my search. Seemed legit. In this present time of COVID and unemployment pandemic, it’s really sad that people take advantage of others instead of accepting that we all are going through the same trauma. Federal Trade Commission really need to work hard at catching these types of scammer. $38.00 is not a lot of money, but it is when you are working hard to make ends meet.

  6. this is just GREAT!!!!! i am so tired of theses people that do this shit something has to be done with these scam sites praying on people. you just cant trust anything anymore. iam done with ordering on line with sites that are just bogus. i am sticking to only the stores i know, i cant believe i have been had. just give me 5 min with these people, they really need to get caught and hung.

  7. This website is gone no longer exists . When I try to go into ” view my order ” it reads” this shop is unavailable”. Also the email addess cannot be found . I ordered 45. Dollars worth on August 19, 2020. Very disappointed in myself for not looking at this site thoroughly.

    1. I just got scammed in October. I ordered 35 worth of Lysol. They sent me an email saying my order was processing, they gave me a USPS Tracking number. I waited 3weeks following this package and it was finally delivered 10/31 to an address in Maryland, but I live in Nj. I hope they are residents of the USA because this is a federal crime to give a fake tracking number. But I’m frustrated with Facebook because they are advertising a fraudulent company on their site and I know they have been reported so I’m going after Facebook as well. I told them I hope their whole family gets COVID-19. We are in the middle of a pandemic to prevent this disease and they scan people is a disgrace before God

  8. I ordered back in October 2020 and its January 2021 and still haven’t received my order. Will not purchase again from them. I spent around $70. Frustration! I can’t even sent a email to them. No phone number. Don’t order from this site.
