How Does gavlina.com Work?

Gavlina claims to sell top quality products at very affordable rates on their online store, but should you trust them?

For instance, they offer up to 40% sitewide discount. They’ve also generously slashed prices off the products on their store, selling the items for prices that are too good to be ignored.

However, using cheap deals to bait unsuspecting buyers is common among scam online stores. Those who eventually fall for it and go on to make orders end up getting scammed; they either receive products of inferior quality, or nothing at all.

Also, gavlina.com uses a convincing website layout, giving it a trustworthy outlook. But this should not deceive you into believing Gavlina is legit because most of these scam online stores go the extra mile to appear trustworthy.

Gavlina accepts payments made through credit/debit cards and PayPal.

What We Found About gavlina.com!

One of the advantages of the internet age is the ease with which we do things. One could, by clicking a few links on a laptop or a smartphone, purchase items from the comfort of their homes. But its down side is this: because the sellers are invisible, they could easily be scammers.

We have taken the responsibility to carry out reviews on sites like Gavlina and expose their fraudulent schemes.

One of the things we noticed about Gavlina is that no positive reviews have been made about them – not on social media, not on review sites. Usually, authentic positive reviews are a sign that an online store is reliable.

Also, the domain name gavlina.com is less than six months old and, therefore, should not be trusted. And since their creation date is very recent, there is no past timeline through which we can measure their authenticity. Apart from being recent, the domain has a hosting plan lasting for one year. Even Google warns that websites with a short life span are most likely scam.

Their website uses https security – this means that information like passwords and credit card numbers, when sent to their site, is kept private. But this is not an assurance that the people behind the platform won’t tamper with your details.

The other things which we found out about Gavlina which made us believe gavlina.com is a fake online store are:

Reachability

The contact information provided on their website is not reliable: customers complained of receiving no response. Their email address is not responsive. The phone number and address they provided are fake: they are an embedded image cropped from elsewhere.

Due to the anonymity of the owners of the store, there is zero accountability, and no one to charge should you be scammed. The absence of a real face to account for the operations of the store is a big red flag.

Reviews

The products sampled on gavlina.com carry fake customer reviews, which is a bad sign. Reliable online stores like Amazon usually carry mixed customer reviews, both positive and negative, on the products sampled on their store.

When we scanned their site on ScamDoc (a website analysis platform), it returned a very bad trust score of 1%. This means that their site can’t be trusted because no identifying information of the owner is tied to the domain name.

Content

The contents used on their webpages were copied from other sources, as we have, times without number, encountered the use of same contents in other fraudulent online stores.

Their about page is exactly the same as that of Halnina, another fraudulent store we reviewed here. Also, Gavlina’s website shares the exact same template and layout of Alvindy, also another scam store we reviewed here.

Verdict!

Gavlina.com, like LolasFashion, is an untrustworthy online store. Therefore, we do not recommend that you shop here. If you shop from them, you stand the risk of losing your money but getting no product in return.

There are many untrustworthy online stores on the internet promising to sell top-notch products but at heavily discounted rates.

It is common to come across these e-commerce stores offering good looking products at appetizing prices. But, in the end, such stores usually turn out to be fraudulent.

Most people attracted by these “too good to be true” prices from these online stores have bought goods of their liking but received something different from what they had ordered, and of poor quality.

Worse, some have placed orders with full payment yet received nothing but silence from the online vendors. You do not have to become one of them to learn from their experience.

It is unfair to fall victim to these fraudsters and lose the money you earned from honest work. Fact-checking should be a priority before you buy anything from an online vendor.

If you’ve shopped from this store, or attempted to do so, kindly share your experience with us in the comment section.

  1. I ordered two items on April 21, 2021. The purchase was charged to my credit card but I have not received the items. When I emailed them to check the status I was told the shipment was being delayed by customs. As of May 29, 2021, I still have not received the items. I left a negative but truthful comment on their Facebook ad but my comment was deleted within 30 minutes. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SCAMMER.

    1. I ordered 3 shirts and exact same thing!! Have emailed many times to no avail! AVOID!! They are scammers!!

  2. I always check independent reviews before I buy from online stores and what I found was every single one was positive. My momma always said if it sounds to good to be true it probably is (You can’t please everybody) also if you read their terms they weren’t accountable for anything they pretty much stated buy at your own risk It’s too bad because I wanted one of the dresses for my wedding. Oh well the search continues.

  3. I ordered three shirts and it took a month for them to come and none of them look like the pictures. They’re supposedly a cotton blend but it feels more like all nylon and the patterns look real tight, crisp, and clear on the webpage but the actual shirt print is very dull and spread out and ‘out of focus.’ There are no tags on the shirt indicating the material. The only tag is the size tag.

  4. I ordered a few shirt and a dress. Finally got them after a few follow up emails. None of the articles of clothing looked like what was on the website. Cheap poorly made clothes. When I emailed to return they said send picture first, I did and haven’t heard from them still.

  5. These guys are total a total scam! Back in early May, I saw an ad pop up on Facebook. Lots of glowing reviews and thumbs up. So I researched the internet checking to see if they were legit. I found nothing. On their website, all the clothes got nothing less than a 5-star review. I spent $87.97 on 3 shirts! My first clue something was wrong was when I received an email saying shipping my order would be delayed. The website said they were shipping out of LA. Sooooo, why the delay???? After reviewing their refund policy, I discovered customers could get their money back if the order hadn’t shipped. So I requested a refund.
Within the next 24 hours, I received an email saying my order “shipped.” Weeks later (4 +) it arrived and the clothes were nothing like what was pictured on the website or on Facebook! Obviously, the reviews on the site are bogus and are not from real customers. I went on their website and gave each shirt I ordered a 1-star review warning potential buyers. I also complained to the Better Business Bureau about false advertising. When I reviewed the website again, the address listed is XBP International LTD, 145-157 St. John Street, London, England, EC1V 4PW Phone number listed is +447482875871 – So God Knows Where these are being shipped from. CHINA??? I’m sure the company is fake as well, but I’m mad as Hell and I want my money back or these guys out of business!!!

  6. I ordered 3 shirts from galvina. When they couldnt provide a tracking number, I asked that they cancel. All of a sudden, they came up with a tracking number and sent the order anyway. I placed a dispute on my credit card but received the items anyway. I am now trying to return the items and they do not respond. They have also blocked me from their fb and Instagram pages. Luckily I placed this order in dispute with my credit card but I am trying to do the right thing by return the items. They removed all my reviews and blocked me on messenger as well. Horrible company

  7. Thank you for the warning. I love the styles but they can easily be found and purchased at a reliable site.

  8. I ordered 3 shirts after a month of threats I finally got them. One fit 2 were way too small. I inquired how to send them back. They said they would refund me $15 for the $60 they cost after telling them I was going to cancel my credit card they offered me $30. Their best offer. The return address Dubai, UAE.

    What a load of crap
