How Does dismandy.com Work?

Dismandy claims to sell top quality products at very affordable rates on their online store, but should you trust them?

For instance, they offer a ‘buy three get one free’ special offer. They’ve also generously slashed prices off the products on their store, selling the items for prices that are too good to be ignored.

However, using cheap deals to bait unsuspecting buyers is common among scam online stores. Those who eventually fall for it and go on to make orders end up getting scammed; they either receive products of inferior quality, or nothing at all.

Also, dismandy.com uses a convincing website layout, giving it a trustworthy outlook. But this should not deceive you into believing Dismandy is legit because most of these scam online stores go the extra mile to appear trustworthy.

Dismandy accepts payments made through Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and PayPal.

What We Found About dismandy.com!

One of the advantages of the internet age is the ease with which we do things. One could, by clicking a few links on a laptop or a smartphone, purchase items from the comfort of their homes. But its down side is this: because the sellers are invisible, they could easily be scammers.

We have taken the responsibility to carry out reviews on sites like Dismandy and expose their fraudulent schemes.

One of the things we noticed about Dismandy is that no positive reviews have been made about them – not on social media, not on review sites. Usually, authentic positive reviews are a sign that an online store is reliable.

Also, the domain name dismandy.com is less than six months old and, therefore, should not be trusted. And since their creation date is very recent, there is no past timeline through which we can measure their authenticity. Apart from being recent, the domain has a hosting plan lasting for one year. Even Google warns that websites with a short life span are most likely scam.

Their website uses https security – this means that information like passwords and credit card numbers, when sent to their site, is kept private. But this is not an assurance that the people behind the platform won’t tamper with your details.

The other things which we found out about Dismandy which made us believe dismandy.com is a fake online store are:

The social media links on their website are not connected to any handles; when clicked, they lead to the homepage of the respective social media platforms. Trustworthy stores use social media as a means to advertise their wares and also connect to their customers. They even listen to and resolve customers’ complaints through their social media handles. Most scam stores refrain from having social media accounts because a victim of their fraud can easily tag and expose them there, warning away other prospective buyers.

The contact information provided on their website is not reliable: customers complained of receiving no response. Their email address is not responsive. They have no phone number and no return address.

Due to the anonymity of the owners of the store, there is zero accountability, and no one to charge should you be scammed. The absence of a real face to account for the operations of the store is a big red flag.

The products sampled on dismandy.com are without customer reviews, which is a bad sign. Reliable online stores like Amazon usually carry mixed customer reviews, both positive and negative, on the products sampled on their store.

When we scanned their site on ScamDoc (a website analysis platform), it returned a very bad trust score of 1%. This means that their site can’t be trusted because no identifying information of the owner is tied to the domain name.

The contents used on their webpages were copied from other sources. On their about page, they referred to themselves as a store that sells menswear, which is in disagreement with the products sampled on their store.

A dissatisfied customer wrote this:

“I purchased saws on February 14th, received an email on the 19th saying it had shipped. But I haven’t received any merchandise.
I have sent several emails that have gone unanswered. My receipt say 3 Bosch mini saws. And if ( doubtful that I will ) I receive any merchandise… it better not be gloves.”

Dismandy.com, like LolasFashion, is an untrustworthy online store. Therefore, we do not recommend that you shop here. If you shop from them, you stand the risk of losing your money but getting no product in return.

There are many untrustworthy online stores on the internet promising to sell top-notch products but at heavily discounted rates.

It is common to come across these e-commerce stores offering good looking products at appetizing prices. But, in the end, such stores usually turn out to be fraudulent.

Most people attracted by these “too good to be true” prices from these online stores have bought goods of their liking but received something different from what they had ordered, and of poor quality.

Worse, some have placed orders with full payment yet received nothing but silence from the online vendors. You do not have to become one of them to learn from their experience.

It is unfair to fall victim to these fraudsters and lose the money you earned from honest work. Fact-checking should be a priority before you buy anything from an online vendor.

If you’ve shopped from this store, or attempted to do so, kindly share your experience with us in the comment section.

  1. I have been scammed by dismandy. I made a complaint through PayPal and was refunded the money. Basically what happened was that I came across an ad for a mini-chainsaw that had a pair of gloves as a gift (so I thought). It was taking too long for the ‘chainsaw’ to arrive so I wrote and they replied that it was in transit (way over the due date – but hey, yeah Covud. So I waited and again nothing. I’d also asked about purchasing extra replacement chains but they ignored that question completely. That’s when I started becoming suspicious (along with the lack of product). Well, guess what, I just got two pairs of gloves in the mail – that was it. I paid $40 (AUS) for two gloves. Now, if you look at their ad it says minichain saw but has a pair of gloves as the picture. Bastards. I’m so sick of these evil creeps. So, I was understandably furious and then found this website.
    Thank you.
