How Does Ddbba.com Work?

Ddbba claims to sell high-quality products at very cheap rates in their online store, but should you trust them?

They offer a ‘buy 10 get 20% off’ discount deal. They’ve also generously slashed the prices of most products in their store, selling their items for prices that are too good to be ignored.

Nonetheless, using nice deals to bait unsuspecting buyers is common among scam online stores. And those who eventually fall for it and go on to make orders end up getting scammed; they either receive products of inferior quality or nothing at all.

Also, ddbba.com uses a convincing website layout, giving it a trustworthy outlook. But this should not deceive you into believing Ddbba is legit because most of these scam online stores go the extra mile to appear trustworthy.

Ddbba accepts payments made through credit/debit cards and PayPal.

What We Found About Ddbba!

One of the advantages of the internet age is the ease with which we do things. One could, by clicking a few links on a laptop or a smartphone, purchase items from the comfort of their homes. But its downside is this: because the sellers are invisible, they could easily be scammers.

We have taken the responsibility to carry out reviews on sites like Ddbba and expose their fraudulent schemes.

One of the things we noticed about Ddbba is that no positive reviews have been made about them. Usually, authentic positive reviews are a sign that an online store is reliable.

Their website uses HTTPS security – this means that information like passwords and credit card numbers, when sent to their site, is kept private. But this is not an assurance that the people behind the platform won’t tamper with your details.

The other things we found about Ddbba that made us believe ddbba.com is a scam online store are:

REACHABILITY

They have no social media presence. Trustworthy stores use social media as a means to advertise their wares and also connect to their customers. They even listen to and resolve customers’ complaints through their social media handles. Most scam stores refrain from having social media accounts because a victim of their fraud can easily tag and expose them there, warning away other prospective buyers.

The contact information provided on their website is not reliable: customers complained of receiving no response.

Due to the anonymity of the owners of the store, there is zero accountability, and no one to charge should you be scammed. The absence of a real face to account for the operations of the store is a big red flag.

REVIEWS

The products sampled on ddbba.com have no customer reviews. Reliable online stores like Amazon usually carry mixed customer reviews, both positive and negative, on the products sampled on their store.

When we scanned their site on ScamDoc (a website analysis platform), it returned a very bad trust score of 2%. This means that their site can’t be trusted because no identifying information of the owner is tied to the domain name.

CONTENT

The contents used on their web pages were copied from other sources. We’ve encountered both their website template and content in other fraudulent stores.

TRACKER

There is no reliable tracking system available on their website to monitor the progress of the ordered products.

A customer wrote this on ScamDoc:

“I ordered the stitch advent calendar for Stitch Lovers. I got “something” in the mail and it was nothing what I ordered. I knew something was up when I felt plastic instead of cardboard. I got a plastic 24 holed container with dollar store toys in it.”

Verdict!

Ddbba.com, like Prochty, like 1beth, is an untrustworthy online store. Therefore, we do not recommend that you shop here. If you shop from them, you stand the risk of losing your money but getting no product in return.

There are many untrustworthy online stores on the internet promising to sell top-notch products but at heavily discounted rates.

It is common to come across these e-commerce stores offering good-looking products at appetizing prices. But, in the end, such stores usually turn out to be fraudulent.

Most people attracted by these “too good to be true” prices from these online stores have bought goods of their liking but received something different from what they had ordered, and of poor quality.

Worse, some have placed orders with full payment yet received nothing but silence from the online vendors. You do not have to become one of them to learn from their experience.

It is unfair to fall victim to these fraudsters and lose the money you earned from honest work. Fact-checking should be a priority before you buy anything from an online vendor.

If you’ve shopped from this store or attempted to do so, kindly share your experience with us in the comment section.

  1. I ordered the NY Islanders advent calendar the first week of November, 2021. An advent calendar arrived on December 22nd. It was not at all what I was expecting: had a different cover on it of NY Islanders mascot and emblems, and was not filled with anything relating to the team. Each day had a junky, miniature toy that you could probably have gotten from a .25 cent gumball machine years ago! For example, a tiny 1′ sized cement truck, very small, yellow plastic dinosaurs, a 2″ male figure (policeman, postman?) with chipped paint that made it look vintage, as if someone found it in their attic. I paid a good amount for what I thought was NY Islanders items, and instead got a bunch of garbage toys. Extremely disappointing and aggravating!!! Feeling scammed. :((
