What Is Apple Pay Text Scam?
People have been receiving texts informing them that their Apple Pay has been suspended. Following the message is an instruction to update their details, which starts with a prompt to click this link: https://apple-wallet-id24.com. But this is a scam text we have seen countless times, and we know how it works.
How It Works
The Apple Pay scam text informs the reader that their account has been suspended due to outdated information. They then require the recipient to fill in their information afresh, as a way to keep the account updated. Their aim is to pretend they want to help you resolve the problem, and after collecting your personal information, they would have access to the sensitive details needed to steal money from you.
